Situated off the main road and nestled on the beach with the lapping waves of the Atlantic Ocean only a stone throw away - Alegria undoubtably lives up to it's name by offering a sensory feast experience which constantly excels at spoiling both the local and touring visitors of the serene and scenic town of Saint Helena Bay, found on the West Coast of South Africa.
The ever changing seasonal menu offers a deliciously divine combination of Portuguese and Mediteranean flavours to satisfy any hunger by only using fresh ingredients acquired daily, ensuring that each dish made to order always reflects the highest level of service proudly held by owners Don and Connie, whom have poured their unconditional love for a great dining experience into every aspect Alegria has to offer.
While adhering to all Covid-19 rules and regulations, the kitchen and fully licensed bar opens Tuesday to Saturday from 11h00 till 20h00 and Sunday's till 18h00, with daily specials. The main seating area is open air under a stretch tent while a few more intimate tables can be enjoyed under the lapa area.
